CoinSurf User Privacy Policy

This privacy statement ("Privacy Policy") explains how information is collected and utilized by CoinSurf and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies. This Privacy Policy applies to the CoinSurf website at CoinSurf.com, (the "Site") and to the CoinSurf Application (the “Application”). At CoinSurf we are committed to user privacy. When possible, we avoid collecting more data than is required for the CoinSurf website and Application to function properly. We never share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We believe your user information should be kept secure and private.

What Types of Information Does CoinSurf Collect?

CoinSurf collects some limited personal and non-personal information from its Users through its services. When CoinSurf uses the term personal information in this policy, CoinSurf is referring to information that specifically identifies an individual (such as an individual's name, address, telephone number or e-mail address), and information about that individual or such individual’s activities or preferences when such information is directly linked to personal information. Personal information does not include aggregate information, which is data we collect about the characteristics and activities of users of the Application and CoinSurf's other online services, from which any personal information has been removed. CoinSurf collects the following types of information from its Site and Application:

A) Information That You Provide to Us.

We receive and store personal information you choose to enter on our Site, enter through the Application, or that you provide us in any other way, such as by telephone or by electronic mail. For example, when you register for our services, we collect personal information about you. We also collect additional information when you enter payment information used for redeeming CoinSurf credits. This information may include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and third party payment processor information like Paypal.

B) Information That We Automatically Collect.

Cookies

Both the CoinSurf Site and the CoinSurf Application utilize cookies to automatically collect information from users and visitors. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that reside within your browser. Some enable our computer systems to recognize your browser and to tell our systems how and when pages within our Site are visited and by how many people. Others track data related to web browsing and the calculation of Credits earned through use of the Application. The cookies from our Site and Application do not collect personal information, however, we may combine information collected through certain cookies we issue on our Site with other personal information that you provide to us on the Site.

Application update checks

Your browser periodically checks for updates of your extensions including the CoinSurf Application. Some general information, such as browser version, extension version, operating system and your IP address, are transmitted during an update check.

Other Data

We automatically receive and store certain other types of information as well whenever you interact with us or browse the web with the Application installed. For example, our servers track the type of Web browser you are using, where you travel within the Site, and the page to which you link from the Site. This type of collective data enables us to figure out how often customers use parts of the Site, so we can make the Site appealing to as many customers as possible.

How Does CoinSurf Use the Information That it Collects?

We use the information we collect to provide and improve our services. For example, we may utilize your information to:

  • Operate and improve our Site and services, such as the Application.
  • Respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service
  • Provide and deliver products and services and/or send you related information, including confirmations, deposit receipts, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.

Does CoinSurf Share the Personal Information That it Collects?

Agents and Service Providers: CoinSurf may engage other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf. Examples of these services include processing payments, sending postal mail and email to you, and analyzing data. While these agents and service providers may have access to your personal information in connection with the performance of services for CoinSurf, they will not be authorized to use such information for any purpose other than providing such services to CoinSurf.

Protection of CoinSurf and Others: We reserve the right to release account and other personal information when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with Federal or State law and/or regulations enforce or apply our user Agreement or protect the rights, property, or safety of CoinSurf, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Corporate Transfers and Financings: CoinSurf may share your personal information in connection with any merger, sale of CoinSurf assets, or a financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Aggregate Information: CoinSurf may share aggregate (non-personal) information about you with advertisers, publishers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties.

How Secure Is the Information That You Provide to CoinSurf?

CoinSurf takes reasonable measures, both physically and digitally, to protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. CoinSurf cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information that CoinSurf receives.

What Information Can You Review, Access and Change?

You can access or correct certain information about you collected on the Site in the Account section of the Site. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from CoinSurf by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your accounts or our ongoing business relations. Third-Party Information Gathering

Use of the CoinSurf Application will sometimes present you with ads and links to other websites. Please be aware that CoinSurf is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they are linking to websites through ads provided by the CoinSurf Application and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by the Site and the CoinSurf Application. Special Notification with respect to Children's Privacy (Users under the age of 13) In response to concerns about protecting children's privacy online, Congress enacted the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA"), which sets forth rules and procedures governing the ways in which websites may collect, use and disclose any personal information for children under the age of 13. In accordance with CoinSurf policy and COPPA regulations, we DO NOT:

Can Changes Be Made To This Agreement?

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole discretion. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes to the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Site so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, it is disclosed.
